The lymph is composed of white blood cells (essential for the immune system), a large number of fats, and residues of bacteria and cells. The lymphatic system collects the fluid and debris that accumulate between cells and tissues. It also collects many lipids generated by digestion.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a massage technique that’s mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduce tension in muscle and tissue. It may also promote faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation. Read on to learn more about deep tissue massage, including how it stacks up against Swedish massage and what to expect during a session.
Myofascial Massage
Myofascial release is a type of physical therapy often used to treat myofascial pain syndrome. Myofascial pain syndrome is a chronic pain disorder caused by sensitivity and tightness in your myofascial tissues. These tissues surround and support the muscles throughout your body. The pain usually originates from specific points within your myofascial tissues called “trigger points.” Myofascial release focuses on reducing pain by easing the tension and tightness in the trigger points. It’s not always easy to understand what trigger point is responsible for tLocalising pain to a specific trigger point is very difficulthe pain. Localising pain to a specific trigger point is very difficult. For that reason, myofascial release is often used over a broad area of muscle and tissue rather than at single points.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Manual lymphatic drainage has powerful cleansing, relaxing, pain-relieving, and immunological effects that help to boost the immune system. When the lymphatic system becomes sluggish it can cause fluid retention and toxins in the body. This very gentle flowing, rhythmic massage helps with manual lymphatic drainage to the vessels and is effective in the treatment of a wide variety of problems. The treatment lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. It is extremely gentle and leaves you feeling deeply relaxed and rejuvenated.

Seated acupressure massage is performed in a special, ergonomically designed, comfortable chair. The massage is based on a 1500-year-old form of Japanese acupressure. It is performed through clothing and works on the main stress-bearing areas of the upper body. This treatment mobilises releases tension from your upper body and leaves you feeling refreshed, energised and revitalised. Ideal for those who undertake very physical activity in either home or work life. Contactless Gun Massage by Hypervolt
Percussion therapy concentrates targeted pulses of pressure into the muscle/tissue of the body, helping to relieve muscle pain, stiffness and soreness, and increases the range of motion. Percussive stimulation provides comprehensive relief by reaching both the superficial and deep muscle fibres. The Hypervolt line delivers three speeds of rapid percussion almost silently – ideal to relieve tension and accelerate warm up and recovery after physical activity.
Dynamic Compression Massage
Air compression massage effectively mimics the muscle pump of the legs and arms, enhancing the movement of fluid and metabolites out of the limbs after an intense workout. Created by a physician bioengineer (PhD), the Normatec line combines dynamic air compression with a patented Pulse massage pattern that employs three key techniques—pulsing, distal release, and gradients. Studies show it can help relieve muscle aches and/or pain and temporarily increase circulation resulting in increased flexibility and range of motion, injury prevention, and accelerated recovery time.
Stretching
Stretching is the key to well-being, we do it involuntarily from our first days of life. We are born with a good range of movement, we can see it in babies when they catch their feet and play with them, but it is something we see losing day by day as it can also be recovered and maintained with a few small habits. By reducing our flexibility and elasticity we begin to experience a series of physical conditions (rigidity, loss of mobility, imbalance, inflammation, etc.) this brings infinity of physical dysfunctions and in the worst case, some organs are affected. Regular stretching prevents stiffness and soreness throughout the body and allows muscles to work to their maximum capacity, leaving you free to move through your day with renewed lightness and ease. It can also sharpen your level of focus and concentration, as you reduce tension and reset your nervous system.
Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is one of the most commonly offered massage techniques. It’s sometimes called a classic massage. The technique aims to promote relaxation by releasing muscle tension. A traditional Swedish massage involves the whole body. You will begin on either your back or your stomach and flip over halfway.
Hector
Bachelor of sports science, massage therapist, with various specialties in physical recovery therapy. always committed to the well-being and Health of society.
It was London who motivated me to continue with my project, being able to reinforce my knowledge in physical therapy and well-being, specializing in pathologies generated by bad posture in workspaces.
I feel that I have the responsibility to share my knowledge, however simple it may seem, it has a surprising power in well-being.
I meet clients daily with infinite pain from being in a chair for a long time, standing or typing for a long time, or a simple repetitive movement that causes pain in your shoulder, back, neck, that does not let you sleep.
My functional therapy is in charge of finding the origin of the problem, knowing why there is a pain in a certain area, and then eliminating that tension and correcting that muscular imbalance with exercises and localised stretches.
